  • the pursuit of happiness is something many have tried and failed at..I was watching a documentary on TV recently which was about an expedition to the antarctic..the presenter poited out a mountain range which looked only a mile or so distant...he explained that it was some 40 - 50 miles distant!!the air was so clear, there was no haze.
    Often the thing we think will bring us happiness seems to be just within reach, but the closer we move towards it..the further away it actually is.
    The first saying is true..what we desire and what we need are two separate things..to chase after that which is un necessary is foolish...
